The North Carolina AIDS Action Network (NCAAN) works to improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and affected communities through outreach and public education, policy advocacy, and community-building to increase visibility and mutual support of people living with HIV/AIDS throughout our state. NCAAN centers our work on advocacy, organizing, and leadership and is guided by the shared values of justice, integrity, inclusion, and strategic decision making.
The Ella/Her Project Organizer will be responsible for creating and implementing an outreach program around HIV prevention and sexual health that is specifically created to appeal to and center the experiences of Black and Brown cisgender women. They will track grant objectives as well as provide program management and implementation. This will include program development, implementation, collaboration, delegation of tasks, creating program timelines, community outreach, and necessary, person-centered program adjustments for this new 18-month project. This position will work closely and collaboratively with a team of 3 full-time equivalent people representing three organizations.
Salary Range: $48,000 – $54,000 annually plus benefits
NCAAN offers a flexible and remote work environment, benefits package including paid vacation (two weeks) and sick leave and pays 100% of individual benefits.
